The Truman Show has always been one of my favorite movies. Ever since watching the movie, I’ve always imagined what it must be like when things go horribly wrong or right in my life and somewhere unbeknownst to me is an audience crying or laughing along with me. It’s a frightening idea at times but mostly, it just seems like it’d be a lot of fun.
This segment posted below apparently ran on Nickelodeon before the showing of The Truman Show. The clip is a very realistic but fictional interview with the movie’s characters (the characters in the TV show) to make it seem like The Truman Show really took place.
It’s confusing to explain, but for a video made so long ago, this really seems much better at faking real life than reality television.
