Carolyn Jarvis of a TV program called 16:9 takes a look at an abandoned town in Canada named Kitsault. The town, built to house mining employees and their families, was left abandoned after the mineral they were mining became unprofitable. People were told to leave overnight and the town basically set abandoned for about 30 years until 2002 when a millionaire bought the entire community for $7 million.
Since then, Kitsault has seen renovations and is hoping to draw people back to its community ASAP. It’s now open for people to move in and visit.
