I held out on watching this film for a while mainly because I just wasn't too excited about it. I've never been a huge Star Wars fan to begin with, so all the excitement about this new film (Episode VII) by J.J. Abrams just sort of flew over my head. This is one case where the popularity of the film made me go watch it more than the film itself.

But wow, was I pleasantly surprised! This was a fantastic film from start to end! It really brought Star Wars into that same category for me as modern blockbusters like Marvel films and LOTR. The story was amazing and filled with so many surprises -- and questions!

For once, I'm really looking forward to another Star Wars film. The ending of this one was a real cliffhanger...
