This very graphic ad for PlaneStupid, an advocacy group against aviation expansion, was written and commissioned by Mother and produced by Rattling Stick. It shows polar bears falling out of the sky and meeting a very harsh death. Clearly, an illustration meant to stir up emotions enough to deter people from flying as often as they do. [via]

Want to know how that live fish dish I posted earlier might have been cooked? Look no further than this Chinese cooking competition that puts chefs up against each other to see who can cook and serve a live snake and fish the fastest.

Did you know that a fish’s scales can resist heat up to about 700 degrees Fahrenheit? Yeah, it’s a pretty remarkable little known fact that allowed this fish above to remain alive even after it’s been cooked.
If you believed that first sentence, you fail. I was just kidding. But the above video IS of a fish that is still moving after being cooked. Cantonese people in the background of course.

During a routine traffic stop, an officer writing a ticket was met with a relentless climbing kitten who just would not go away. Intent on finishing his ticket, the officer continued to write away as the cat made its way to the very top of the cop’s head. Such a funny little kitten!

Likecool posted this tennis ball launcher today that’s made to hold 4 tennis balls ready for launch while playing with your dog (or pet that can fetch).
The tennis ball launcher costs about $40 USD and can launch up to 4 tennis balls in a row at a distance of up to 200 feet. Not bad. I bet Joey would like this.
