Michael Jackson by Albert Watson

November 5, 2009 @ 10:45 pm

Albert Watson’s portrait of Michael Jackson is currently on display at the Brooklyn Museum (one of my favorite museums in NYC!) in the “Who Shot Rock & Roll” exhibit until January 31, 2010. It’s a very large print at 96″ x 58″ and you can get a better sneak peek at it PDN.

Rihanna speaks to Diane Sawyer about physical abuse

November 5, 2009 @ 9:32 pm

This morning, Good Morning America (ABC) aired a special exclusive interview with Rihanna about her relationship with Chris Brown and the physical abuse she suffered while dating him. This morning’s segment was a mere 5 minutes but it reveals a lot already about Rihanna’s thought patterns and how she didn’t even realize that she was in a destructive relationship until it was too late. The full episode will air tomorrow night on 20/20 but for now, you can see a sneak peek of it in the video above. [via]

PS: I think this is the first time I’ve ever heard Rihanna speak. I’ve known her music and her singing voice for so long that it’s a bit weird to hear her just speaking normally. But good for her for getting this message out. Tune in to 20/20 tomorrow to see the entire interview with Diane Sawyer.

Here’s Christopher Walken on Friday Night with Jonathan Ross performing a special Halloween message using the lyrics to Lady Gaga’s “Poker Face”. The parts you think are funny definitely are funny.

Thanks Yun!

PS: Christopher Walken has got some weird hair these days. What’s going on?

Behind the Scenes With Kanye from We Love You So on Vimeo.

This was a behind-the-scenes clip posted on the Where The Wild Things Are inspiration blog and it’s pretty funny. Even though it’s clearly staged, any clip where Kanye is getting slapped is funny to me.

“We Were Once A Fairytale” – Kanye West Dir: Spike Jonze from Yooj‽ – Recording Live From No on Vimeo.

Directed by Spike Jonze and starring Kanye West as himself, this short film is straight-up WTF. I need somebody to explain this one to me. I’m all artsy-fartsied out.

Comedian Ken Jeong on The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien

October 16, 2009 @ 12:05 am

Here is one of my favorite comedians, Ken Jeong, appearing on The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien. I would love to meet this guy in real life. He seems genuinely hilarious all the time. Man, put him together in a room with Aziz Ansari and I’d probably die of either excitement or laughter.
