Athlete - Beyond The Neighbourhood

Monday, March 31st, 2008

I’ve been listening to Athlete’s latest album Beyond The Neighbourhood for a while now and despite some mediocre reviews, I actually find myself liking the album a lot. I probably even like it more than their previous album Tourist.
I recommend listening to “Hurricane”, “Flying Over Bus Stops”, and “Best Not To Think About It”.
Download the [...]

Word on the street is that Mute Math is releasing their next studio album in September 2008.

Sara Bareilles and Rachel Yamagata on tour

Wednesday, February 20th, 2008

Two of my favorite female vocalists are on tour together!
Sara Bareilles and Rachel Yamagata are both part of the same tour in April. They will be joined by David Ford and Raining Jane at specific venues. Sara Bareilles is headlining the tour.
The concert hits NYC on April 23, 2008 at Irving Plaza. How unlucky of [...]

Happiest concert ever: Peter Combe @ Northcote Social Club

Tuesday, November 20th, 2007

Last night I went with Lauren to the Peter Combe concert at the Northcote Social Club. Lauren’s co-worker had an extra ticket to “give away”, and since Lauren is such a die-hard fan of Peter Combe, she decided to go again (she went the night before too). Instead of going it alone, she asked me [...]

The Strokes @ Alexandra Palace (May 12, 2003) mp3 download

Sunday, October 21st, 2007

I didn’t go to this concert and I wasn’t much into The Strokes back in 2003, so it’s a miracle that I even came across this (I was originally looking for another rare song of theirs).
Anyway, I accidentally downloaded one recording of “Hard To Explain” from their concert at Alexandra Palace in 2003, thinking that [...]

Snow Patrol Concert @ Rod Laver Arena

Tuesday, September 18th, 2007

I went to a Snow Patrol concert on Monday night (September 17, 2007) here in Melbourne at the Rod Laver Arena. It was such an amazing show. I missed Snow Patrol at MSG in New York City back in March of 2007 (when they came with Ok Go). I would have never thought that I’d [...]

Snow Patrol at Rod Laver Arena

Sunday, September 16th, 2007

I’m seeing Snow Patrol on Monday night at Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne with Jayde!
Whoo! I hope I don’t get my camera taken away! If I don’t, I’ll post some photos after the show! See ya!

Our weather tomorrow

Saturday, August 4th, 2007

Just reminding everybody that registrations for Demonoid are currently still OPEN.
Also…Mae’s upcoming album Singularity is…somewhere online. There are about 9 more days before it gets officially released.
LOL. Something about reading how Dateline NBC’s plans to go undercover at DefCon became foiled makes me laugh. Hahaha. Those hackers at DefCon are too good, even for real [...]

I need to start sleeping earlier.

Wednesday, August 1st, 2007

I just came back from watching The Simpsons Movie. It was quite entertaining and funny and definitely worth the approximate $7.785 USD I spent to watch it! Hahaha! You can see my rating for it on my movies page.
I also got to watch Amélie for the first time today in class. I have this class [...]
