So this is what Coolio is doing these days. This video is actually kind of old, but it’s the first time I’m seeing it so it’s considered new to me. Plus, the topic here is perfect for Thanksgiving since it’s all about cooking turkey — the Coolio way. Thanks Tina!
Quick chefs serve live snake and fish

Want to know how that live fish dish I posted earlier might have been cooked? Look no further than this Chinese cooking competition that puts chefs up against each other to see who can cook and serve a live snake and fish the fastest.
Thanks Tien!
Fish still moving after being cooked
November 19, 2009 @ 8:27 pm
Did you know that a fish’s scales can resist heat up to about 700 degrees Fahrenheit? Yeah, it’s a pretty remarkable little known fact that allowed this fish above to remain alive even after it’s been cooked.
If you believed that first sentence, you fail. I was just kidding. But the above video IS of a fish that is still moving after being cooked. Cantonese people in the background of course.
Thanks LingLong!
Colorless aluminum Coca-Cola can
November 14, 2009 @ 3:16 pm

Harc Lee thought up this brilliant naked aluminum Coca-Cola can in order to reduce energy use in the manufacturing process. Because the can uses an imprinted Coca-Cola logo rather than a colored logo dying process, companies who make use of this can potentially get rid of toxic paint processes which harm the environment.
Whether you believe the environmental claims or not, I think making aluminum cans like this is awesome. I would love for a beverage company to do this.
Snoopy Sno-Cone Machine
November 12, 2009 @ 12:19 am
Holy crap! The Retroist has found an old commercial for the Snoopy Sno-Cone Machine, a toy that I remember using when I was younger! This thing was the bomb (but it didn’t make very good snow cones, honestly).
Urbanspoon app now available for BlackBerry devices
November 11, 2009 @ 1:59 am
Crackberry caught up with the guys behind the new Urbanspoon app for BlackBerry devices and gives us a tour of the simple interface that is unlike any other BlackBerry app currently on the market.
I just downloaded the app myself on my phone and it is pretty neat and accurate (and it’s speedy too!). It’s a must-have if you get cravings at weird hours of the night. Head on over to urbanspoon.com/blackberry to get it now.
