If you haven’t heard, the New Super Mario Bros. Wii game now has a release date of November 15th in the US. The New Super Mario Bros. Wii
looks like it’s the Mario game to have for the Nintendo Wii. Can’t wait to own it!
Kotaku had the hi-res art available for viewing, but they made it real cumbersome to download so I packed all of the New Super Mario Bros. Wii artwork into one zip file which you can download here.
Also, you can pre-order the New Super Mario Bros. Wii
game on Amazon.com for just $47.

Just read over at Gizmodo that the Apple Store is still selling brand-new first-generation iPod music devices for $130. Whether or not this is a mistake is to be seen (comments are saying that it’s a glitch but at least one commenter has purchased the item), but for now, it looks like you can get a piece of design history at the Apple online store.
In any case, seeing that post made me think about the design of the first iPod and how lovely it looked. I did a bit of research and found the original press images for the iPod and you can check them out below. I couldn’t seem to find a place that had them up for download so now I’m offering it to you here.

Two days before official release date is good enough I suppose. Yep, Calvin Harris’ new album has leaked onto the internet in 128kbps mp3 files. I would still wait for the official album release for better quality, but if you can’t you know what to do.
Here’s a hi-res pic of the album cover.

Here is the first hi-res image of Buzz Lightyear from the Toy Story Collection coming from Disney/Pixar this coming Fall. Buzz Lightyear is an actual-size 12″ action figure that will be selling for $35 at all toy retailers very soon. This action figure has 30 sayings programmed into its core and is highly poseable.
I wasn’t exactly all too into the remote controlled Buzz Lightyear because its motions were so jerky. I would much rather have a poseable action figure on my desk than a robot that I have to use a remote control for.
From what I’ve read, the toy above has no karate-chop action, which sorta sucks because that seems to always be the thing missing from these various Buzz Lightyear toys. I mean, it’s advertised in the Toy Story film, so why can’t the toy be true to the movie?
Overall however, this is the toy I want. Click on the image above to see the toy UP CLOSE.

Gizmodo has all 35 new Apple Snow Leopard desktop images for viewing. Apple actually includes several images of snow leopards in their next OS release along with some neat hi-res images of famous works of art.
Gizmodo’s gallery seems to be a bit wonky, so if you want to download the images in hi-res, you can do so here.

Not much information about this Travel Duffel on Vael’s website, but boy does it look gorgeous! It is made of heavy water-resistant coated cotton canvas with leather accents and topped off with oversized water-resistant zippers. There doesn’t seem to be any price for it at the moment, but if I find that out, I’ll let you all know.
Check out the gallery below for close-up images of the Travel Duffel.
