DJ AM’s sneaker collection on eBay

November 20, 2009 @ 1:05 am

The late DJ AM was a huge sneakerhead during his lifetime and a large portion of his unique shoe collection is now on eBay. As expected the prices for his very sought-after shoes are incredibly high, but proceeds from the sale of these shoes go toward the DJ AM Memorial Fund.

If you’re a sneakerhead yourself or if you just want to help out in some way and get something neat in return, you can check out the 100+ shoes over at the DJ AM Memorial Fund eBay account.

Thanks Benny!

Lo Res shoe

United Nude produced this Lo Res shoe by digitally scanning an actual shoe and then modeling it in various resolutions. A neat effect I think that wouldn’t look too bad on actual feet. I dunno, you tell me.

Da Da Da Studio is selling a variety of shoes made entirely out of different loaves of bread! They come in black, white, classic, and gold colors and are presumably crisp up until delivery! Get a pair for yourself for just over $32 USD. [via]

Just so you know, it is probably not recommended that you consume these shoes after wearing them (even if you only wear them around the house). Thanks Funko!

Shoe-bike from Travis Pastrana and DC Shoes

DC Shoes commissioned a custom motorbike to be built that used a series of shoes in place of standard dirt bike tires. It took six months to build, but it looks like DC Shoes actually got their wish, and they asked Travis Pastrana to test it out on a dirt track.

Watch the video below to see Travis do a couple of tricks with the shoe-bike and also destroy it by burning the rubber on the back tire. Nice!
