I know I’ll never get a chance to own a pair of these Blue Lobster Dunks because of the limited run and the expensive price, so these pictures will have to do. Concepts really did a good job on this product packaging, putting the shoe in a HAZMAT-like foam container to emphasize the danger of the “blue lobster” name. I think that blue and that neon green go real well. I WANT TO GOBBLE IT UP! YUM.

Shown here is the Rock Duffel Bag, just one of many items available for purchase in the Mooks online store which is now live. A small part of me wants to buy another pair of Dunlop Volleys right now because they ship to the US. Mmm…

Last summer, Concepts collaborated with Nike SB on a red Lobster Dunk that came in some very fantastic packaging. The Lobster Dunk was a huge success and now Concepts is back with its sequel, a blue version of the same shoe they called the Blue Lobster Dunk. The shoe is to be released on June 20, 2009 and like its predecessor, it will come in its own special packaging. The Blue Lobster dunk will be sold for $250 in a HAZMAT foam container with a Nike SB T-shirt and a special hang tag and lace lock.
I wasn’t a big fan of the original Lobster Dunk, but this blue one is absolutely gorgeous! Those neon yellow/green laces are quite something. Yum!

Wow, somebody enlighten me here. How is it that this shoe costs nearly $42 USD before shipping?

I think DQM just picked up some Spring Court sneakers which are the closest things to Dunlop Volleys that I’ve seen State-side. They probably aren’t cheap if they’re being picked up by DQM and Tani, but I wonder if they have special price-points in the US compared to their prices in France and the UK.
I’d like a pair in white.
