No, that’s not a typo in the title and that’s no Photoshop trickery in the image above. The Washington Nationals baseball team actually became the ‘Natinals’ when two of their players — Adam Dunn and Ryan Zimmerman — donned team jerseys that misspelled the team’s name. [via]

I think I’d be more impressed with this 6-year-old ping pong player if she was actually playing somebody for real and not just hitting ping pong balls thrown by her instructor. Sure, she hits really hard and moves pretty quickly, but that’s about it really. Still, I’ll give her the benefit of the doubt since she can barely see over the net.

Powersliding: an extreme sport that doesn’t deserve the name

When I first saw this powersliding video, I honestly thought it was a joke. I mean, nobody would actually bother to practice this as a sport, right? WRONG.
It turns out that powersliding is a very real sport and it’s currently coming up on its 3rd annual powersliding championships. If sliding around on slick surfaces in jeans can be a sport, then let’s put it right up there next to extreme ironing.
