The Yike Bike, a new electric two-wheeled transportation unit was introduced to European audiences recently in hopes that it might spark some interest in a larger worldwide market. The bike is completely electric and runs for about 10km on a 30-minute charge. The bike features anti-skid brakes, built-in light indicators, and a top speed of 20kph.

I personally think riding an actual bicycle is better for your health and looks a lot cooler, but I won’t knock the Yike Bike because it does look like it has some fun bundled into its ultra-compact design. Check out the demonstration video below and the images after the video.

Also from Duke’s Lexington Antiques Center are these two beautiful Mason jars –one from Samco and the other from Atlas. They are both 1/2 gallon jars and they make wonderful desk accessories and coin jars (that’s what I’m using them for).

I’ve wanted this book since it went on sale in 2003, and after nearly 6 years of waiting I can finally call The Complete Far Side my own. This 2-volume set contains all 14 years’ worth of Far Side comic archives from the 1980’s until 1994 when Gary Larson called it quits on the comic. The collection is very heavy for a book, weighing in at nearly 40 pounds. But those 40 pounds aren’t just dead weight. Inside the box set are over 1200+ pages of hilarious comics that are printed on amazing heavy-weight paper in both color and black and white.

In terms of quality, this is even better than The Complete Calvin and Hobbes! Thank you Digo!

Papa John’s says not to eat more than 2 slices

On BBC Radio 4’s Today program, John Schnatter, the founder of Papa John’s Pizza, accidentally caused some controversy when he suggested that customers not eat more than 2 slices of pizza for health reasons. This was taken as bad news by shareholders primarily because you cannot buy pizza by the slice at Papa John’s and the smallest sized pizza pie has 6 slices.

This is also bad news for me personally because everytime I eat Papa John’s I always eat more than 2 slices. Phooey, what to do now?
