For a very limited time only, a special metallic version of Voltron will be on sale to celebrate the franchise’s 25th anniversary. The 25th anniversary metallic Voltron is in every way just like the original toy with 5 inter-connecting robot lions, except that this one is given a unique metallic finish. [via]
If you act quickly, you can get the Voltron 25th Anniversary Metallic Voltron Gift Set
for just $65 at Amazon.com. If you miss out, you can also pick it up at Entertainment Earth for $70.

If you’ve never had a chance to look at Subway Art
by by Martha Cooper and Henry Chalfant, then head on over to The New York Times Lens where they’ve posted 16 beautiful images from the book.
Subway Art was recently re-published as a giant 25th anniversary edition
and if you’ve seen it, you will know that I’m telling the truth when I say that it is simply remarkable. I have the “regular-sized” edition and that was amazing already, but seeing the entire book several times bigger is something else! If you want the definitive look at graffiti art in New York City in the 80’s, Subway Art is definitely your best bet. The giant 25th anniversary edition is only $26
which is an incredible deal for such a piece of work. Seriously. Just look at those NYT pictures as proof.

Google celebrates 25 years of the Tetris Effect with this logo tribute. I think it’s one of the more abstract logos they’ve published.
