Here’s a segment from Animal Planet about Labrador Retrievers. Watching this video makes me never want to have any other breed of dog except Labradors and I’m glad Joey is a Labrador.

I wrote yesterday about how I thought the Animal Planet documentary, A Lion Called Christian, was pretty good and how I wished that somebody would upload a torrent so I could download the episode and keep it.
Well, it turns out that the documentary was already available as a torrent, but under a different name. The same documentary was shown on Channel 5 and somebody has put the entire episode online for you to download. Head on over to The Pirate Bay to grab A Lion Cub from Harrods and watch the documentary to hear the real story behind one of YouTube’s most watched videos of all time.

Animal Planet debuted “A Lion Called Christian” yesterday, a TV show about the famous lion named Christian who was released into Africa’s wilderness only to fully embrace his former owners a year later.
I watched it and it’s actually a pretty good view into the life of the lion and the remarkable story that became a viral hit when the video was published by YouTube. There’s a huge backstory to the famous video and Animal Planet does a pretty good job of bringing light to that story. Animal Planet even goes so far as to find the original woman who first posted the video without any sound on YouTube and brought her face to face with the two men who were made famous because of it.
I’m sort of waiting for a torrent of the show to go online because I want to download it and keep it. But so far, no torrent for A Lion Called Christian yet. Check your local listings to see when Animal Planet is showing the segment again.
