This amuses me to no end and I applaud Buzz Aldrin for committing such an act against Bart Sibrel, the creator of at least 2 movies claiming the moon landings were faked.
You can’t really say that Buzz Aldrin’s actions were unprovoked. I mean, Bart Sibrel did harass the astronaut continuously outside of this hotel and even asked Buzz Aldrin to swear on the Bible that the moon landings were not faked. If I were Buzz Aldrin, the only thing I would have done differently was punch this guy much sooner.
The index-finger-to-the-cheek-while-blinking, the butt-out-chest-up-spiral-down, the open-mouthed-wide-eyed-finger-pointing-up, the head-tilt-wink, the elbows-in-fists-underneath-chin…

I’m skeptical about this video simply because the YouTube user has no other videos associated with the account (except for the one above). I wouldn’t be surprised if this video was outed later on as an attempt by some group to rally support for pro-life issues.
While she seems very well-informed on the subject, I couldn’t help but get very annoyed at the way she presented the message to the viewer as if we were all a bit slower than her.
I hate those Netflix pop-under ads that get served on just about every site on the web. It doesn’t matter if the same site has already served you a Netflix pop-under, it’ll just continue to give it to you until your computer slows to a crawl. The worst part is that I often don’t even know I got a pop-under until I close my main browser window (which is hardly ever) and then I see all of these little red windows everywhere.
Netflix is a great service and all, but seriously they need to stop it with these. Can’t they do normal ads like everyone else? If you hate them too, I encourage you to call customer service and give them a hard time about it.
UPDATE: Just got off the phone with Netflix. Apparently they have no control over how their ads are served. The person I spoke with said that anybody can sign up to be an affiliate and as a result they have no way of doing any sort of quality control with their ads. It sounds like the format of the ads are controlled by individual websites and/or ad services. Boo! Looks like we won’t see an end to this anytime soon.
However, the person I spoke with did say that they would do an investigation if they get enough concerned calls about this issue, so call in and voice your opinions about these pop-unders!
This has been bothering me for a very long time and it’s finally gotten to the point where I want to throw my Mac out the window. Why in God’s name is there no option to sort the files in Trash by date deleted?!
It’s just ridiculous for this option not to be available in the Trash folder.
