Nothing makes any sense at all in this recently released album cover image for Chris Brown’s Graffiti. I’m just sayin’…

Seriously, what the hell is that mess in the lower right hand corner?

If you read GOOD magazine at all, you probably saw the wonderful papercraft cover they used for their first GOOD 100 issue.

The GOOD 100 issue includes 100 different ways you can get inspired, with lots of artwork from creative designers in the industry.
And to top it all off, GOOD has given everyone a look at how they created the cool magazine cover which was shot by Will Etling with model styling by Brian Rea.

The wonderful thing about working in digital

A Growing Pile of Work from Siggi Eggertsson on Vimeo.

This is a video made by Siggi Eggertsson that compiles over 400 digital images that he created between 2003 and 2009. With traditional artwork, this probably would have taken up a lot of physical space. But as digital files, these can be layered on top of each other without much need for extra space. [via]

30 Reasons: graphic design for Barack Obama

November 2, 2008 @ 7:59 pm

30 Reasons is a 30-day campaign to convince people to vote for Barack Obama. The effort is centered around visually enticing pieces of artwork that present a single argument for Barack Obama (or against McCain-Palin). The project has been on-going for the past month or so as they put out a new poster every day until Election Day. Every single poster is designed by a different graphic designer in hopes of showcasing 30 different creative minds by November 4th. Check out the list of graphic designers here.

How come there isn’t an organization of artists doing something similar for McCain-Palin?
