Went to an Athlete concert last night at the Bowery Ballroom. It was my first time at the Bowery Ballroom and also my first time seeing Athlete live in concert. I’ve been a fan of their music for a while now and it was nice to see them play on stage. As far as I can remember, they hit all of my favorites including Wires, Black Swan Song, Superhuman Touch, Hurricane, and Half Light.
All in all, a very good show. I just wish their stage setup and lighting were a bit more sophisticated. Here are some photos from the show.
Athlete just released their brand-new music video for the song “Black Swan Song” off of the album Black Swan. Watch the music video above, it’s beautiful. :)
I posted a music video for “Superhuman Touch” yesterday because I really like that song. What I didn’t say in that post however was that the entire album from Athlete is actually quite good. It’s been 2 years since Athlete last released an album and like their last few efforts, this one does not disappoint.
