Audi TT-RS
Freshnessmag posted a link to Avus Performance, a German performance sportcar company that has a great track record of producing awesome looking cars.
Above is the Audi TT-RS which they’ve given an elegant matte black paint job. As it turns out, they tend to replace the standard paint job on many of their vehicles with a matte black coat which I think makes any car look cool.
See below the Nissan GTR, Audi Q7, and Mercedes ML — all in matte black. Nice eh?

To celebrate Audi’s 100th anniversary, Gerry Judah created this 32-meter high sculpture (nearly 105 feet) on display at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in West Sussex, England. The sculpture features two Audi vehicles — a recently launched R8 V10 sportscar and a 1937 Auto Union Streamliner — racing into the sky on a silver polished track.

This incredible looking concept vehicle for Audio is called the A’KIMONO LS2.0. It is designed by Teodor Kyuchukov and features lighting design elements borrowed from traditional interior lighting practices seen in monuments, sports facilities, and architectural buildings.
The concept was somewhat based around the idea that most car designers design the exterior of the car in such a way that makes it virtually invisible at night. So Teodor designed this concept which lights the exterior of the car as if it were just as important as the interior, allowing anybody to know immediately that they are being trailed by one of the meanest-looking vehicles on the road.
At the moment, there are no decisions to put this car into development (I don’t think there ever will be), but you can bet that someone at Audi is looking at this and taking some of it as inspiration for a future production vehicle.

I really like this commercial from Audi for the Q5 not only because it’s neat that they end up with a cardboard Q5 at the end, but also because the song they used is a hit!
