Seriously? They couldn’t do anything about the audio reverb for the TV broadcast? What is this?
White Magic: song composed using sounds from The Sword In The Stone
May 11, 2009 @ 11:07 pm
It’s been almost a year, but it looks like Pogo has been keeping busy with his cartoon audio remixes. If you enjoyed his previous Alice In Wonderland video remix, then I have a feeling you’ll appreciate and enjoy this new music video remix created using sounds from the Disney film The Sword In The Stone. If you like it, go to Last.fm to download Pogo’s music.
ToneMatrix: a visual audio sequencer from Andre Michelle
April 6, 2009 @ 9:08 pm

Digital Tools just posted about the newest musical project from Andre Michelle called the ToneMatrix. The ToneMatrix is an incredibly simple audio sequencer that makes use of illuminating squares and the result is even more addicting to play with than the Hobnox Audiotool which Andre also created a few years ago.
Each square on the ToneMatrix is connected to a specific tone which plays when the underlying wave-map passes by it. There is a sense of immense satisfaction when I hear my melody played out on the light-up grid. It’s magical almost and makes me wish I owned an instrument like this just so I can continue creating music even when I’m away from the computer.
The ToneMatrix certainly deserves a place in my bookmarks right next to the keyboard drum set.
Sonic Bed by Kaffe Matthews
February 3, 2009 @ 2:30 am

The Sonic Bed shown here was made in 2006 by Kaffe Matthews as an experiment in audio immersion through a semi-enclosed space that also serves as a bed. I really don’t care much about the experiment portion of this bed (which apparently includes speakers and subwoofers). I just really love the fact that it’s a bed that let’s you literally sleep inside it.
I might ask my dad to build me a new bed like this — without the sound system of course.
