I posted briefly about the Lightscoop just a few days ago and today I received a review unit from them to test out and I am just floored by the quality of light I am getting off of this relatively cheap camera flash accessory.
I am planning a full review of the Lightscoop real soon, but for now, just look at the difference that this $35 add-on does for an SLR’s on-camera flash. It’s incredible! The top photo was taken WITH the Lightscoop and the photo below is taken with direct on-camera flash.
Stay tuned for the full review soon.

AnimalNY linked to this fascinating project by street artist EVOL that depicts abandoned neighborhoods entirely out of building and window stencils on stone columns.
The location for this ‘city’ is a 10m X 8m hole in an abandoned warehouse floor; the concrete shapes are “probably the former foundation of a huge boiler plant to derive soap from rendered beef fat or other utilization of carcass. however, even 15 years after closing down, it still smells nauseous.
Check out more images of this awesome project at unurth!

A company called CableJive has hit upon quite possibly the greatest improvement to the iPod/iPhone/iPod touch in a very long time with their line of iStubz. [via]
iStubz are very short iPod connector cables that greatly reduce confusion, entanglement, and headache on your desktop. There are times when a long cable is needed and there are times when a short cable is sufficient, and for the longest time I’ve always thought the iPod connector cables were just way too long. I mean, who really connects their iPod more than 2 feet away from their computer? I certainly don’t. It’s always sitting within inches of the USB port.
In any case, the iStubz come in 2 sizes, 7cm and 22cm, and come in both white and black varieties. Get one now for $7.95.

No music video, but this is one great track. Certainly makes me anticipate the upcoming Bloody Beetroots album even more (to be released September 8, 2009).
