God only knows how long you’ll be on hold for. If I were you I wouldn’t even bother getting an actual question ready for them because chances are you’ll never get connected or you’ll just hang up out of frustration.
Do any of my readers use the FastMac MacBook Pro extended battery? At $100, it’s cheaper than the OEM Apple battery replacement and holds more juice than the original battery. I don’t need one at the moment, but I’m afraid that as my MacBook Pro gets older and outdated, that companies like FastMac will stop producing these extended batteries.
Also, it’d be nice if FastMac gave an average of how much more power this extended battery provides.
I need to get myself one of these BlackBerry Bold extended batteries that provide up to 15% more battery life than the standard OEM battery. But is $50 worth it? I haven’t decided yet.
I’m not really that impressed by the announcement of the new 17″ MacBook Pro, but I am really fascinated by the technical video behind the laptop’s integrated battery. Apple put this same video up on their website (higher quality there) and I’m really loving the close-up views of the machine/factory where these batteries are made.
No other laptop company really talks about their battery components in this same way, so I don’t know if this technology already exists in a laptop on the market, but man does Apple really know how to make the most boring topic seem extraordinary.
I think if you order this from ColorWare, they take care of the entire process for your for a premium price. So if you aren’t keen on paying an arm and a leg for something you can do yourself, you can just go ahead and buy the black bezel and battery cover for $30 and then go home and do it yourself. You’ll save a whole lot and your phone will look more or less like the unit above (without the oddly placed BGR logo, of course).
