Arch Daily posted this great house designed by architect António Sérgio Koch in Oporto, Portugal which I am just falling in love with. It’s got huge windows and big open spaces throughout the entire complex. Definitely something that I feel would age well over time and not look too out-dated in just a few years (although I could be wrong…but for now, a very beautiful house).

I didn’t think I’d care, but CrunchGear just posted about the death of Don Ivan Punchatz, the artist behind the original DOOM video game box, and it sorta made me a bit sad.
DOOM was one of the first PC games I ever played and I can recall seeing this image every time I launched the game. And now the man who subconsciously told me that it was ok to shoot aliens is dead. It’s weird to think that DOOM is more than 15 years old.

Take a look at the slightly refreshed Google homepage with larger buttons and a larger search box. I like it!

Wow, seriously? A box this big to fit another box the size of the shipping label? What a waste of space.

Are you wondering how HOTiSO managed to get a copy of the alleged final version of Apple’s Mac OS X Snow Leopard? Well, Mac Rumors is reportedly showing a legit image of a final production Snow Leopard box and disc (in Portuguese) and they conclude that this can only mean that at least some of the discs in certain regions are available if you know the right people.
It’s readily available for download, but Apple is making it hard to justify the time needed to download a 6GB+ disc by making the upgrade only $30

SweetLoveVintage is selling this vintage 1954 Monopoly board game box for $10 on Etsy. Unfortunately, the game isn’t included and the box is a bit worn, but I think it adds a bit of character to it. Check out the photos of it below.
