I came back from a very fun night out with Yina at Williamsburg Music Hall where we watched Calvin Harris do a pretty long DJ set. He snuck in a couple of his own songs while mixing some other fabulous tracks that got the entire room jumping and dancing. Good times, good times! :)
Check it, suckas! I’m going to see Calvin Harris at the Williamsburg Music Hall on September 10, 2009 and you’re invited so long as you purchase your tickets soon. Catch me and my friend Yina up front and center bugging out. YAR!
I really like this song off of Calvin Harris’ new album Ready For The Weekend. It kind of makes me feel like driving a car down a long stretch of road during sunrise. A convertible is what I’m thinking, but I guess an old station wagon with chrome bumpers would do just as well. Maybe a friend in the passenger seat too.
Two days before official release date is good enough I suppose. Yep, Calvin Harris’ new album has leaked onto the internet in 128kbps mp3 files. I would still wait for the official album release for better quality, but if you can’t you know what to do.
To further promote his latest single and upcoming album (both of which have the same name), Calvin Harris teamed up with the Royal College of Art’s Industrial Design Engineering program whose students created the Bare Conductive skin-safe ink seen here.
If you’re skeptical of the video above actually being real, check out the making-of video below which shows how they set up this human synthesizer to work so flawlessly.
