Kristin Kreuk speaking Chinese in The Legend of Chun-Li

So I just finished watching Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li. In it, Kristin Kreuk plays Chun-Li who occasionally blurts out Chinese phrases (in both Cantonese and Mandarin) with a terrible, terrible accent. If you understand Cantonese, you’ll find this clip above, which I’ve edited slightly, to be laugh-out-loud funny.
For those who are wondering, YES, I do recommend that you watch this film. Simply because it is so bad — so bad that it’s actually kind of entertaining.

If I was a bigger fan, I’d probably already know this, but Cutiemish’s latest video confirms my suspicion that she is in fact Cantonese (but of British origin).
