Blackburn USB Flea front light

November 11, 2009 @ 11:59 pm

New to Blackburn’s 2010 bike equipment line is a new adaptation of the Flea front light with a USB charging station. The previous version of the Flea required connecting two ends of a charger onto a battery. The new USB charging station makes it a bit less cumbersome, doing away with the wires and making the power source any powered USB port. Nice!

Brian Chen and Powermat

I have very high respect for Brian Chen and his job of reporting on gadgets and technology, so I don’t mean this comment in a bad way at all towards him. I just find it incredibly distracting and awkward the way Brian keeps looking back at the camera as the person he’s interviewing is talking to him (or talking about the product). It’s just…very weird looking.

Anyway, good stuff demonstrated here from Powermat, a company that makes mats that can charge devices wirelessly in real-time.
