Australia’s famed Tim Tam chocolate cookies are coming back to the US!!

Earlier this year, Pepperidge Farm tested sales of Tim Tam cookies at Target stores and pulled the product off shelves at the end of March. Now, after months of missing Tim Tams here in the States, Pepperidge Farm is set to unveil the wonderful Australian cookie once again sometime in October.

The wait will soon be over and Tim Tam cookies will be had by all! Thanks Cecilia!

Last case of American Tim Tams signed by Hugh Jackman up for auction

The last case of American Tim Tams is up for auction on eBay and it is personally signed by Australian actor Hugh Jackman. As some of you may know, Tim Tam cookies were available for a limited time in the US exclusively at Target stores from November 2008 to March 2009 (it was distributed by Pepperidge Farm in the US). There hasn’t been any word yet on how well they were selling, but I suspect that many people who picked them up fell in love with them right away. Anyway, there are currently no plans for Tim Tams to make a permanent US stay, so if you’re in the US, this may very well be one of the last chances you’ll be able to pick up an entire case of them. Plus, the good thing is that the proceeds of this auction will go to Feed America, the nation’s leading hunger-relief charity. [via]

At the time of this post, the auction has 34 bids and is currently at $237.50.

This is a funny commercial. I sometimes wish I was made of regenerative chocolate.

Cake shaped like a chocolate box

Bakerella is showing off one magnificent cake that is sure to have any person — guy or girl — in awe. Believe it or not, every single portion of the image above, with the exception of the brown paper holding each “chocolate”, is actually part of a cake! Bakerella made this cake in the spitting image of a traditional Valentine’s Day gift box of chocolate and has posted the entire recipe online for those of you daring enough to try this at home!

If you’re less ambitious, you can also just try make the red velvet cake balls that adorn the top of the cake. The recipe seems a bit less complicated, especially if you’re less of an artist in the kitchen like I am.

The pictures are the real juicy part though so check them out below.

Hershey’s nostalgic limited-edition candy

Simon made a post about the new nostalgic Reese’s packaging that Hershey’s is putting out for a limited time and it reminded me to post my own pictures of the old-timey packaging.

So here it is, as seen in my local Duane Reade just the other day. I haven’t heard anything about when the products will be pulled off shelves, but if I were you, I’d go ahead and buy at least two of each candy in the bunch now — one to keep and one to eat!

The chocolate candy included in this Hershey’s nostalgic set are Reese’s, Mr. Goodbar, Hershey’s Milk Chocolate, and Hershey’s Milk Chocolate with Almonds. Each one comes with a re-issued vintage packaging label which is definitely good eye-candy (get it???????). YUMMY!

How ’bout them dancing eyebrows!

Cadbury is known for making weird commercials (see the drumming gorilla one if you haven’t already) so I expected nothing but pure awkwardness when I was emailed their latest creation from A Glass and a Half Full Production. This “commercial”, if you can even call it that, features two young kids creating mischievous eyebrow action while the adults in the room look away. Definitely unconventional.
