The Circular Skateboard by Mark Gonzales

AnimalNY shared this old-timey looking video of skateboarder Anthony Pappalardo cruising around New York City with Mark Gonzales’ “Circle Board”.

The “Circle Board” is made of 9 regular skateboards connected end to end in a circle. If you want to see the board in person, you can do so at the Franklin Parrasch Gallery until November 28th.

360-degree Nikon rig with 48 D700 cameras

At this year’s MTV Movie Awards, Nikon set up 48 D700 dSLR cameras in a circular rig that fire off at the same time and create a 360-degree animation of the object in the center. Here’s a video of internet celebrity iJustine taking advantage of the rig.
