This isn’t the music video for “City of Black and White” by Mat Kearney, but if it was I don’t think that would be a bad thing. This video from Studio 84 features some great aerial videography mixed in with some interesting color isolation. It’s soothing to watch as this city flies on by.
After work tomorrow, I’m heading to Irving Plaza to see Diane Birch and Mat Kearney play live in concert. If you’re also heading there, let me know via Twitter or via email or via comment. Would love to meet some readers!
I’ve been waiting so long for a new album from Mat Kearney and it’s finally here. I’m listening to it right now and I’m already loving it after just a few tracks into the album. Listen to it here and buy it when it comes out on May 19th!
I’ve sorta missed these as they were coming out, but Mat Kearney has been uploading videos onto YouTube to give fans a sneak peek at his upcoming album entitled City of Black and White. The sneak peek is so far split into two parts with the first part (above) giving some detail into the songs “All I Have”, “Fire and Rain”, and “Closer To Love”.
The second part (below) talks about the songs “Here We Go”, “Life Line”, and “City of Black and White”.
The album is called City Of Black And White and the first single is on sale over at Sony BMG. It’s been way too long since I’ve heard new music from Mat and I’m real excited to see what his sophomore album is like! Can’t wait!
