This seriously messes with my mind. But oddly enough, I would love to see this on store shelves. The blue is kinda nice. Click on the image to see it bigger.

Not much to say really except that these are a nice play on the classic Coca-Cola logo. Great for summer. See them bigger at TheDieline.

Make that another strike against the terrible new Pepsi logo! Despite may similarities between the Obama campaign logo and the new Pepsi logo, Barack Obama and many White House staff actually prefer to drink Coca-Cola.

Ok, so it’s not very important in the long run. But I like ragging on a company that spent nearly $1 million+ on one of the ugliest branding mistakes in recent history. If they were going to redesign anything, they should have gone with these white cans instead. Now those look nice.

What if the Coca-Cola secret formula was lost?

February 19, 2009 @ 5:08 pm

Wieden & Kennedy Portland created this funny Coca-Cola ad about the trade secret formula behind Coke. I’ve always wondered what would happen to certain companies if they’re secret formulas for their products were stolen, lost, or damaged. Of course, the story here isn’t true. It’s just part of the marketing strategy behind Coke.
