The late DJ AM was a huge sneakerhead during his lifetime and a large portion of his unique shoe collection is now on eBay. As expected the prices for his very sought-after shoes are incredibly high, but proceeds from the sale of these shoes go toward the DJ AM Memorial Fund.
If you’re a sneakerhead yourself or if you just want to help out in some way and get something neat in return, you can check out the 100+ shoes over at the DJ AM Memorial Fund eBay account.
Thanks Benny!

Theme Park Maps is a website that collects various versions of maps from as many amusement parks as possible. Their collection is rather extensive and the earliest map they have on file is one from 1931. This is certainly a good way to waste your time this weekend. [via]

Flickr user ‘83 has a wonderful gallery of vintage oil cans taken from his father’s collection over the years. I never thought of oil cans as collectibles, but this has surely changed my mind. [via]

Freshness has some pictures from the Summer 2009 collection of Married To The Mob whose aim was to produce images that epitomized “that summer every girl has where she is bordering the transition between being a girl and womanhood. The summer where she has her first kiss, and romance, and broken bone, and every inevitable experimentation that makes the metamorphosis so unforgettable.”
