CollegeHumor takes a look at what might play out if you brought home a n00b to your l33t parents. If you don’t get it, you won’t get it, so move on. This one’s for the geeks.

These CollegeHumor originals are getting pretty elaborate lately and this new one entitled Web Site Story (based on the popular show West Side Story) explores what it might be like if the online world we engage in were one big musical.
The last part about Evite is so true. I hate Evites. Invitations from Evite never show any information you need until you click through to their site.
Thanks for the video Amir!

Holly informed me that Bleep Bloop from CollegeHumor actually did a segment on the ridiculousness of the Grey’s Anatomy video game. Check it out here. The game goals are…weird. But I guess I should have expected that.

Well, it sounded too good to be true, so it’s not. It turns out that the Nebraska government found out about CollegeHumor’s prank to rig votes for the most boring license plate design in Nebraska and has since reversed its decision for what is to be the new Nebraska license plate. The actual new license plate will be the one shown above which is only slightly less boring than the one that won the web vote. Thanks for the tip, Rachel!

Several weeks ago, Kevin Corrigan posted a link on CollegeHumor asking the site to help ruin a public poll for a new license plate design for the state of Nebraska. He asked users to vote on the lamest and most boring license plate design (shown above). Now, he is being told that that particular design has won and is now the new license plate for the entire state of Nebraska! The new design will hang from 1.2 million Nebraska vehicles starting in 2011. WOW. Never under-estimate the power of the internet. Seriously. It must suck to be Nebraska right now.
