Flickr user 4apples modified an Xbox 360 controller just for his girlfriend as a special gift. The photos of the custom pink paint job look pretty awesome and I actually wouldn’t mind if Xbox 360 controllers came in colors like this (or more varieties of colors). [via]
WiiSpray controller in pictures!
April 10, 2009 @ 10:37 pm

It was back in June 2008 that we first saw a glimpse of the WiiSpray, then just this past week a video surfaced that showed the actual WiiSpray prototype controller and “game” in action.
Since seeing the video, I’ve undoubtedly become very excited for this Wii product and now that these official pictures are out, I cannot be more thrilled!

Early last year, I posted about the special Super Famicon controller for the Nintendo Wii that was only available to people in Club Nintendo. Well, Play-Asia has gotten their hands on a few and are selling them to anyone — Club Nintendo member or not –for about $75. At the moment, it is still in stock but if you really want a collector’s item, it’s probably recommended that you jump on this deal as soon as possible.

PlayStation controller soap mold
February 3, 2009 @ 5:48 pm

Someone on Etsy is selling homemade soap with olive oil shaped in the likeness of a PlayStation game controller. Each soap costs $4.25 and is available in red, yellow, blue, purple, peach, green, pink and turquoise. [via]
Unfortunately, the soaps aren’t completely 3D on all sides. The bottom of the soap is flat, but that is probably a good thing so that it doesn’t wobble around on a counter top or shelf. Anyway, this is a good gift for a gamer if the gamer you have in mind has a hard time getting up to take a shower.
