Did you know that a fish’s scales can resist heat up to about 700 degrees Fahrenheit? Yeah, it’s a pretty remarkable little known fact that allowed this fish above to remain alive even after it’s been cooked.
If you believed that first sentence, you fail. I was just kidding. But the above video IS of a fish that is still moving after being cooked. Cantonese people in the background of course.
The yellow lobster, which is both orange and yellow in color, is a rare genetic mutation that appears in only 1 in about 30 million lobsters and makes it appear as if the lobster has already been cooked. New England Aquarium director of research Michael Tlusty says that the lobsters bright color actually makes it an easy target for predators, so maybe this one shown here is lucky it was caught by a humans.
Yes, it is real! And yes, he cooked it and ate it! From the photos, it actually looks like a pretty good burger (especially one that comes from a CAN).
It turns out that the burger can be heated in the can in boiling water or out of the can on a pan. And if you’re out in the wilderness and you don’t have access to fire, you can just eat the burger cold because it’s pre-cooked.
Anyway, the photos are definitely worth taking a look at. So peep them inside!
