Portland, Oregon obviously wins the race here, but it looks like New York City slipped in at the end there with 0.7% of the population cycling to and from work. C’mon New York, let’s step up the game here and move higher up this list!
Oh, and yes, that bike there is from Republic Bike.

The MISHKA Spetsnaz jacket is now in its third release and with it comes some new improvements geared specifically toward cycling enthusiasts. It’s not exactly doing the work by itself since it’s on a tandem bike but I guess that’s ok. Still kinda neat.

Kona Bikes created this video after visiting Amsterdam and seeing the incredible bike culture that was existing there. Worth a watch if you really can’t be convinced that riding a bike is a good thing. [via]

Two sisters, Carla Hochdorfer and Henriette Hochdorfer, are shown in the video above at this year’s European Junior Championships for indoor cycling. The duo seem to be riding fixed-gear bicycles and doing various tricks on them in a lovely dance sequence. [via]
Do I even have to mention that this is amazing? It’s probably hard enough doing these tricks individually…
