The Captured photoblog is one of the first to show us pictures from today’s devastating mile-wide tornado which hit Moore, Oklahoma. The tornado is said to be the worst ever recorded and already the death toll has hit 51 with the number expected to rise. Early reports indicate that the tornado had speeds up to 200mph.
A group called Tri-State has put together maps of pedestrian fatalities in the New York City area from 2009-2011. Each borough has its own map: Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn, Staten Island, and The Bronx. Yep, NYC is still a dangerous place if you don’t LOOK before you cross the street.
