John Mayer’s Battle Studies leaked

November 9, 2009 @ 12:52 am

John Mayer’s upcoming album is supposed to hit shelves on November 17th, but it looks like some anxious fans (or not) have leaked his album just over a week before its release date.

It’s pretty classic Mayer stuff, which means it’s good, so you can either hear it now (you know what to do above) or wait until November 17th to buy it.

Breaking: Mute Math’s sophomore album, Armistice, has been leaked online a full 13 days ahead of its scheduled release date of August 18, 2009. The leak is so fresh that it hasn’t even been reported on the Armistice Wikipedia page yet (normally leaks get reported there pretty quickly).

My ears are going insane right now!!!

Design You Trust posted this wonderful clock called The On-Time Clock that is built to automatically fast-forward the current time by 3 minutes so that you won’t be late for anything. The On-Time Clock was designed by Fabrica and Diamantini & Domeniconi.

I could seriously use one of these.

Lens has a very rare look at some photos taken in 1978 by Jeffrey Henson Scales during an album cover shoot for “Destiny” by the Jacksons. Scales talks about what it was like to shoot the Jacksons — specifically Michael Jackson — and how Michael Jackson’s life was spent almost entirely in front of a camera. They’re certainly some wonderful photographs that you just gotta see.

If you’re interested in seeing some of the early developmental shots that eventually led to nurture my photographic eye today, head on over to You’re My Favourite where I’ve been posting some older photos from some of the earliest archives of photos I’ve been keeping. It’s interesting to see some visual motifs that I still live by in my photography today. If you like it, I encourage you to subscribe to You’re My Favourite so that you can receive fresh updates whenever I post something new. Thanks!
