Fame theatrical trailer
August 12, 2009 @ 11:43 am
I’m sorry, but going to the Fame school was not nearly as dramatic as this movie makes it out to be. I have an inkling that this film is gonna bomb…in a bad way. But I’ll probably go see it because it’s loosely based on my high school.
New Fame movie trailer released
April 2, 2009 @ 8:23 pm
A new theatrical release of Fame is set to come out this September and the trailer for the film just went live.
While it isn’t explicitly said on the website anywhere, the new Fame uses the same logo that came with the original 1980 version of the film by the same name, which leads me to believe that the new film is, at least in some way, still about The New York High School of Performing Arts (which later merged with The High School of Music and Art to become LaGuardia High School).
Having seen the original Fame more times than I’d like, I’m curious as to whether or not this new version will be any good. I think a part of me wants to see it because it’s loosely based on the high school I went to. Thanks for the heads up, G!
Jake and Amir interview The Lonely Island
March 2, 2009 @ 10:38 pm
Internet celebrities should always interview other internet celebrities. Although, I guess both The Lonely Island and Jake and Amir are no longer just internet celebrities since both groups have moved onto rather mainstream audiences. Still, this is how all interviews with them should happen from now on. Haha.
Kristen Bell sings “Fame” @ 2005 Emmy’s
October 7, 2008 @ 12:35 am
Yelena just sent me this video of one of my favorite actresses, Kristen Bell (Forgetting Sarah Marshall) singing “Fame” from the musical of the same name. Incredibly cheesy, but I like it because it’s based loosely on my high school…and because it’s Kristen Bell.
