NY Post has exclusive video of the Ferrari that jumped the curb in Times Square

May 5, 2009 @ 5:15 pm

Take a look at this video of a Ferrari jumping the curb and hitting pedestrians in the middle of Times Square. Believe it or not, this happened during a filming of a Nicolas Cage movie and the two pedestrians that were hurt were NOT actually part of the film set/cast/crew.

Who approves a high-speed car chase scene in the middle of Manhattan without closing off the blocks to all pedestrians not associated with the film???? That’s crazy.

Update: You can watch the video in HD on YouTube.

911 call about train hitting a Ferrari

April 2, 2009 @ 4:23 pm

Jeff Sabold of Automotive Concepts recently dialed 911 to figure out where the heck he had driven to in his expensive Ferrari. It turns out that Jeff was under the influence of alcohol at the time and had parked his car over some train tracks while talking to a 911 operator. Sure enough, a train started barrelling towards him and Jeff had to watch as his Ferrari got trashed by an oncoming train.

Jeff was booked for DWI.

Listen to the audio transcript of the call above. Hilarious!

Ferrari 360 Modena wrapped around a pole

October 28, 2008 @ 5:32 pm

A $250,000 Ferrari 360 Modena crashed into a pole in Adelaide injuring the driver and the passenger. After looking at the pictures, I’m surprised that nobody died in the crash.

Also, I’m surprised by how strong that pole is.
