Slow-motion video of a tongue getting caught in a mouse trap

April 8, 2009 @ 1:30 am

The video starts off with a slow-motion hand-in-bear-trap which sounds interesting but really isn’t.

The real kicker starts at around halfway through the video when they show a human tongue getting caught in a mouse trap. It’s filmed at 1000 frames per second so you can see the saliva go all over the place. NICE.

Match burning at 4000 fps

I bet you’ve never seen fire burn this slow before. The guys over at UltraSlo have literally taken a half-second action and stretched it out to 45 seconds. I love it! I sometimes wish I could see everything at this speed.

Lady bug taking off @ 7000 fps

This video is just incredible because I think of how quickly a lady bug takes off and then I realize that this video captures the same action but at a frame rate so fast that it takes 1 minute and 45 seconds just to show it.

Just amazing how much technology can change the way we view things.
