Yesterday’s post about the theme music in Super Mario Land resulted in a comment directing me towards a link to download the entire Birabuto Kingdom (apparently, that’s what it’s called) theme.
The mp3 file sounds exactly like you’re playing the Game Boy game in all of its 8-bit goodness. Now, I can port this file over to my phone and use it as my ringtone. Whee!

Sometimes when I’m walking around, I start humming or whistling this old-school Mario theme from Super Mario Land for the original Nintendo Game Boy. In my opinion, it is one of the best game themes ever recorded. I love listening to it and I love singing/whistling/humming it. It makes everything I do go down sweeter.
