A quick look at the last 8 years of Bushisms

January 9, 2009 @ 1:39 am

CBS has put together this wonderfully delightful poke at George W. Bush for the slip-ups he’s had over the last 8 years in the public spotlight. He’s had so many in recent history that the term Bushisms–a term used to describe his odd phrases and sentences–has somewhat hit mainstream. Keep watching until the end to see Bush dance!

Part 2 of Bush exit-interview with Charles Gibson

December 3, 2008 @ 12:58 pm

Charles Gibson of ABC News continues his interview wth George W. Bush in the video above (you can watch part 1 here), asking the President and First Lady about their proudest accomplishments and greatest disappointments. They also talk about what they expect private life to be like after they leave the White House. The Bush’s are expecting to write a book and live a relatively normal life.

If the video above gets taken down, you can watch segments of the interview on ABC.

George W. Bush’s first exit-interview (with Charlie Gibson)

December 1, 2008 @ 11:54 pm

Charlie Gibson of ABC News was the first to interview George W. Bush in his last days of Presidency. Gibson talks candidly with Bush about the past 8 years in office and how it has affected him, the country, and the views that people have of him.

Too often I see videos making fun of George W. Bush for stumbling over his words so it’s very nice to see him so comfortable and articulate in this interview with Charlie Gibson. Bush touches upon the recent election and how he knows that some people voted against the Republican party because of his Presidency.

Overall, I thought the interview was pretty good and I’m looking forward to watching the rest of it in the days to come.

PS: The video might be removed by YouTube, so if it does, you can watch it on ABC’s website here.
