Gizmodo reviews the Fleshlight

Adam Reviews the Fleshlight Motion from Gizmodo on Vimeo.

Hahaha, Adam from Gizmodo is here in the video above doing a pretty elaborate review of the Fleshlight (it’s safe for work, except that the Fleshlights look like vaginas and there’s a few seconds where Adam simulates dry-humping…furniture). I feel like you’d need some good humor to review toys like this and Adam certainly delivers.

Microsoft Tablet Courier PC

Gizmodo posted a quick look at the top-secret tablet PC project at Microsoft called Courier. From the video below, it looks like Courier is just as natural as using regular pen and paper, and in some ways, is much better at handling “stuff” than a regular folder/binder.

While it’s still just a concept at the moment, I really hope Microsoft makes a final product as close to this as possible. I’d buy one without hesitation. Check out the demo video below (mind you, it’s still in concept stages now).

Hands-on video with the Microsoft Zune HD

Zune HD Video Hands On from Gizmodo on Vimeo.

Holy crap. Gizmodo has a hands-on video with the Microsoft Zune HD and it is NNIIIIIICCEEEEE!

I’ve always said that the UI on the Zune was great and it looks like that has carried over into the Zune HD as well. If Microsoft makes a Mac client for this — or somehow makes it so that it can sync with iTunes — I’d buy this over an iPod touch without hesitation!

Thanks for the link, Funko!

TV-B-Gone at CES 2008

January 11, 2008 @ 8:39 pm

Staff at Gizmodo have uploaded this incredibly funny video of their team turning off various TV sets at CES 2008 with TV-B-Gone.

If you don’t know what TV-B-Gone is, it’s basically this tiny IR remote which can turn off almost any TV with an IR port. And basically, if your TV has a remote control, then it probably has an IR port which can be hijacked with a TV-B-Gone.

You can get one fully assembled at ThinkGeek for $15.99 (regular version) or $18.99 (for European version). The TV-B-Gone devices contain 209 turn-off codes, so you’re probably set if you want to cause widespread confusion at your local venues and stores.

I don’t know why I’ve never bought one before, but I’ll probably pick one up soon with my next paycheck. Yum! This sounds fun!

You can even order an unassembled TV-B-Gone (without the black keychain housing) for $18.99 from MAKE.
