Adobe UI Gripes

I use Adobe applications on a day to day basis and I run into little things here and there that have gone unnoticed by the people who write the application. Over at Adobe UI Gripes, there’s a whole list (with pictures!!!) of various Adobe mistakes that drive lots of people mad. Things like misplaced menus, stupid errors, and calculation mistakes.

The one above resonates with me the most so far because it happens to me ALL the time. I hate it. It doesn’t do what you think it’s going to do.

Please Fix The iPhone

November 7, 2008 @ 1:38 am

Please Fix The iPhone is a website that currently catalogs 1700+ requests to make the iPhone a better device. Some of the problems are isolated (like crashes with certain programs) while others, like the one pictured above about MMS support, affect every user.

With the exception of a few of the top 10, I pretty much agree that every request listed on the first page should make it into the 3rd generation iPhone. It’s a bit silly that such a powerful phone does not have copy/paste (MAKES LIFE SO MUCH EASIER), or MMS support (especially since it has everything capable for it), or a browser that’s smart enough NOT to reload the page everytime you switch from app to app (this is very, very annoying).

On top of that, why is push email so terrible on the iPhone?

PS: I love the BlackBerry Bold. LOVES IT LOVES IT LOVES IT LOVES IT LOVES IT!
