I don’t think I’ll ever understand people who think that covering something in Swarovski crystals is appealing. Swarovski can literally smack on a couple of crystals onto a $3 mug and say that it’s worth $3000. That’s ridiculous! Somebody needs to bring Swarovski down. Now.

Blowing into a cow’s butt to help it lactate

In this National Geographic segment, the narrator explains how sometimes young kids need to help cows lactate by blowing into their butts. The act is a form of stimulation for the cow and if done correctly will allow the cow to secrete milk! [via]
I believe that sound you hear is the cow farting back the air that the kid is blowing into its anus. I cannot begin to imagine how these kids must feel waking up every morning for this job.

Michael Lockett’s big calves

People in my family have big calves. It’s a genetic thing that runs in the family and often it becomes a topic of interest if any of us happen to be walking in shorts with friends.
But our calves have absolutely nothing on Michael Lockett’s. He’s a bodybuilder featured on the DVD Guns New Breed available at Most Muscular (if by any chance you wanted to see more nasty muscle builds). Blech.
