This is the greatest website ever: Asian Poses.
It’s a website full of examples of typical Asian poses like the giant heart (shown above), fighting, adjusting glasses, and of course the V sign (or peace sign). I’m one who has never found “cute Asian girl poses” very attractive and just about every single entry at Asian Poses is making me want to barf.

The crumpled up paper (or tape?) ball is clearly CG so that takes away some of the coolness to this video. But still, I’ll have to admit that the fingers do a good job of dancing around on the table.
Newborn baby had fully-formed limbs inside his brain

Sorry for the somewhat gruesome image, but I just found this news story incredibly amazing. Apparrently two and a half months ago, the parents of newborn Sam Esquibel had to subject their 3-day-old baby to surgery to remove what was then believed to be a brain tumor. When doctors looked inside his brain, they found 2 fully formed feet, a hand, and a thigh!
Incredibly, the baby lived past the surgery and is now doing quite well with the help of physical therapy sessions to regain the use of muscles in the neck.
But wow, look at that image! A foot inside the brain!
Lamb Chop hand puppet on sale!

When I was younger, one of the shows I fondly remember watching (both at home and at school) was Lamb Chop’s Play-Along. The show was hosted by the late Shari Lewis and contained a variety of entertaining kids activities and songs all accompanied by farm animals in either hand puppet form or mascot costume form.
Anyway, Puppet Universe is having a sale on the replica hand puppet of Lamb Chop used in the show and right now it’s only $12.99!
The only difference I can see is the amount of fluff around Lamb Chop’s head. Compare it to the video below.

I like galleries of silly things, so here’s a great collection of air hand dryers from around the world. [via]
This reminds me of something I’ve been meaning to do for several weeks now. In one of the buildings that I go to class in, The New School has installed one of those high-pressure hand dryers in the men’s toilet and it works like a charm. It literally blows so hard that my skin ripples from the air pressure. I’ll try to get a video of it or something this week.
