Fuse just confirmed that Coldplay will be taking a hiatus for about 3 years after their last show on New Years. Some are happy about this I’m sure, but I think I’ll miss them.

Dave Grohl of The Foo Fighters gave a speech at the Global Citizen Festival in Central Park and said that the band has “no more shows after this”. A hint toward the band’s indefinite hiatus perhaps? Sad to see them go. [via]
