I love the detail that Charlie put into this email, coordinating every other line with the same color in order to create a festive holiday email reminder. This made me smile when I opened it.

Threadless is having an early holiday sale with a huge selection of tees at $5.
They’ve also got T-shirts on sale for $10 and $15. The pricing seems a bit random as the $15 tees aren’t necessarily better than the $5.
Anyway, get your shop on.
The holiday cruiser from Gap

This holiday season, instead of buying clothes and accessories from Gap, you can purchase a bicycle cruiser! The cruiser is available in two versions — $499 for the adult bike and $299 for the kids bike.
The bike is an exclusive collaboration between Electra Bicycle Company and Gap and will only be on sale for a limited time (probably until they sell out or until the holiday shopping season is over).
My 6 months in Australia

It’s hard to believe, but I’ve been in Australia now for over 6 months. I first arrived on these shores on Sunday, July 8, 2007 and Tuesday, January 8, 2008 (the day I came back from Sydney and Whitsunday Islands) marked my 6 months of study, travel, and adventure here in the land down under.
There’s an unending list of things that I have picked up and learned while living here. Some of those things, if I were to write out a proper list, would include local slang, casual conversation idioms (lots of them), and just an increased laid-back look at life. Not to mention also the way in which people in Australia walk and drive too. Yep, 6 months in and I’m definitely feeling like I belong here. It’s a life style and culture befitting of my personality I think, and at the moment, I do consider it a “home away from home”.
If you’re wondering what the map above is for or what the map is showing, it’s highlighting the places I’ve traveled to on this large continent. For those who don’t know, Australia is separated into six states and two major territories. Of the six states, I’ve stepped foot into 5 of them — Victoria (where I live, New South Wales, South Australia, Western Australia, and Queensland. The only state that I have not gone to yet is Tasmania, and unfortunately, I do not have any plans at the moment to travel there. As you can see, the colored portions are the states I’ve been to and the grayscale portions are places I’ve not traveled to yet.
Because of the poor national internet situation here in Australia, I have been limited in my sharing of travel stories, photos, and videos. This just means I’ll have lots of verbal stories to tell when I get home.
May the next 6 months be full of wonder and excitement. Onward, I go, New York City is just in the distance now!
