Famous Movie Moments Conducted Through Ichat: Malcolm and Cole by Laser Bread on Flickr
Brock Davis (the same person who placed googley eyes on lots of things) has created 3 images that show what famous movie moments might have looked like if they were played out on Apple’s iChat.
The one above is from Sixth Sense, and if you like that one, you should check out the conversation between Jules and Vincent from Pulp Fiction and Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker from Star Wars.

Notice anything different here? I no longer have that stupid glossy look in my chat bubbles in iChat thanks to iChat Matte. I can’t understand why anybody would want their chat bubbles to be glossy, or better yet, why there is no default option to remove them in preferences.

No Doubt have updated their website with an iChat-like conversation that hints towards a new tour for 2009. The band members take turns in this chat saying how much fun it would be to play music with each other again, and by the end of the chat conversation, all of them agree that it would be great if they came together to do such a thing.
They also hint towards writing new songs and recording again which would be totally awesome since they were originally supposed to release an album in 2008 (which they didn’t).

The reason why I feel the need to screenshot and re-post my video chat conferencing sessions is because I still get very surprised every time it works the way it should. It’s almost like I’m witnessing it happen for the first time, every time (even though at this point, I’ve done this plenty of times before). There’s a sense of child-like awe and wonder that flows through my body when I see those video chat windows fade into existence, and it always makes me feel so damn futuristic!
So here I am experiencing the future with Tim, Flo, and Justin. Good times, good times.

I had the opportunity today to really experience the future through video chatting via iChat and Skype. I still find myself very amazed when video chat actually works without any hiccups. Maybe it’s because I’ve tried it in the past and it just never turned out the way it was advertised. But now, it’s all working without any pain whatsoever. It’s almost beautiful!
So today I saw and spoke with Angela in Germany and Katherine, Connie, and Daniel all at once. It was a wondrous experience! If you’d like to video chat with me, you can do so by finding me on AIM or Skype. DO IT.
