Boey makes an art out of the traditional styrofoam coffee/drink cup by hand-drawing various illustrations onto the side of the cups. His drawings are absolutely amazing and he has amassed quite a number of them over time.

Each cup he draws is for sale and they come in a nice plastic case (see below) with a cork base and name tag. He’s also taking requests too which means that this would be a neat gift for just about anybody. Certainly something to put on the shelf and show off to others, no?

Check out the way Partners & Spade show their store inventory on their website. I like this a lot.

Kid Cudi – Day N Nite

February 20, 2009 @ 1:25 am

It looks like Kid Cudi has finally released the official music video for his single “Day N Nite”. This music video still makes use of the mini-mart setting seen in the Crookers remix music video, but I think the animation by So Me in this music video make it so much better.

Poor orange

Just about every fruit has a rhyming counterpart except for ‘orange’, and that makes orange cry. So sad, so sad. [via]

I’d love to credit this funny comic, but the original page from where it was found on weheartit.com is down. Any idea who created this?

Original Winnie The Pooh illustrations on auction at Sotheby’s

December 1, 2008 @ 12:58 am

BibliOdyssey has a post full of original illustrations and drawings from Ernest Howard Shepard that are set to go on auction at Sotheby’s on December 17, 2008.

The auction, appropriately named ‘That sort of Bear’: E.H. Shepard’s Winnie-the-Pooh From the Collections of Stanley J Seeger and Christopher Cone will feature 42 lots of illustrations, drawings, and rare books created by E.H. Shepard for the famous children’s story by A.A. Milne.

You can bet that these rare pieces will fetch a hefty sum once they go to auction, so if you can’t afford to buy them, at least you can look at them for free from the comfort of your computer.
