A few months ago, I posted a video of Danny MacAskill showing off some of his amazing bike stunts in a YouTube video. Now, Danny is back with another impressive video for S1jobs.com that you must watch. It’s a feel-good video that hopefully inspires you to love your job (or get a new job that you will love).
Working to get a Big Mac
August 21, 2009 @ 7:03 pm

A new report from UBS puts the average wage of an employee in 73 cities into perspective by showing us how long one would have to work in each city to purchase a McDonald’s Big Mac. If you love Big Macs, Nairobi is not the place for you to be living; Chicago on the other hand is lovely!
Thanks Caleb!
Shooting for HOORAY!
June 4, 2009 @ 2:12 pm

Bud Caddell’s venn diagram here is pretty much what I’ve been trying to keep in mind as I look for a job in this unpredictable market. There’s plenty of room to compromise as I’m looking for employment — salary/pay, skillset, location, experience — all of which I have to consider when I am applying for positions. And so when I saw this venn diagram, I thought, “Well, at least I’m shooting for hooray!” :) [via]
CareerBuilder.com commercial for 2009 Super Bowl

How do you know when it’s time to get a new job? CareerBuilder.com’s 60-second Super Bowl ad breaks it down for us all in simple terms. As John has noted, I think this might very well be the best Super Bowl ad this year (even if I haven’t seen all of the ads yet).

This is sorta what happens when you’re a bit overly confident in your job interview and you’re also a complete idiot. This short is directed by and stars Ben Shwartz, whose other shorts are also worth watching. [via]
