GOOD has created this fact sheet on John McCain and Barack Obama highlighting the stance of each candidate on core issues surrounding the Presidential election. If you’re muddy about where a particular candidate stands on a certain issue, you might be able to find the quick and short answer on this sheet.
You’ve got about 6 hours until the polls open, so brush up on the facts if you need to and get out there and vote!
New viewing features on YouTube (theater mode, dim lighting)
John McCain is pretty funny and casual here on The Late Show with David Letterman (rather than his usual angry self). If you don’t know, John McCain’s appearance on the Late Show is a big deal because McCain previously canceled Letterman’s appearance about a month ago and ended up doing something “more important”. David Letterman played it cool and created a whole lot of jokes about how unimportant he is to John McCain, yadda yadda yadda.
Anyway, here’s John McCain on David Letterman. What’s interesting to note is that on the video’s YouTube page you can view it in “theater mode” which basically puts the video front and center. Lots of weird things on this page that I’ve never seen on any other video page before. I guess it’s sponsored somehow.
Not to keep bagging on this woman, but she’s just too entertaining to let go. Head on over to Sarah Palin Is Your New Bicycle’s Flat Tire to click through a hilarious list of fabricated gaffs and blunders that only Sarah Palin would do.
The one that says “Sarah Palin signed you up for Columbia House” is so funny.
For those of you who missed last Friday’s debates between the two Presidential candidates, here’s a 1-minute recap of what John McCain and Barack Obama said and how often they said it. This plays out like a broken record. I think I could almost dance to this.
